Terms & Conditions

1. PROMOTIONAL PRODUCTS, PARTICIPATING RETAILERS, PROMOTIONAL PERIOD AND PARTICIPANTS (“Cashback Promotion”)

1.1. This promotion is only available on purchases of the products listed below in Schedule 1 (the “Promotional Products”) within the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (“UK”) or Ireland (“ROI”) (together the “Territory”) from one of our participating retailers in the Territory as set out at Schedule 3 (“Participating Retailers”) between 00 Friday 17^th October 2025 and 23.59 Friday 30^th January 2026 inclusive (the “Promotional Period”).

1.2. All other Canon products and retailers are excluded.

1.3. Some Promotional Products may be sold as a camera or printer only or part of a bundle, but only ONE (1) claim can be made per bundle. If a bundle includes two (2) Promotional Products, the Participant may only make a claim against one Promotional Product.

1.4. A purchases must be genuine purchase for cash or its equivalent.

1.5. All participants must be aged 18 or over and resident in the Territory (“Participant”).

1.6. All Participants are deemed to have agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1.7. All Promotional Products must be new and genuine Canon products. Purchases of second hand, refurbished or reconditioned products, or products which are counterfeit or infringe the intellectual property rights of the Canon group of companies in any way (including but not limited to parallel or “grey” products) will not qualify under this promotion. 1.8. A list of retailers who are not authorised in the Territory is provided in Schedule 3. This list is not exhaustive, and any product purchased from these retailers will not be eligible to make a claim under this promotion.

2. HOW TO PARTICIPATE

2.1. To enter the Cashback Promotion, the Participant must: (i) purchase a Promotional Productfrom a Participating Retailer during the Promotional Period within the Territory; AND (ii) submit a valid claim online between 00.00 on Friday 17^th October 2025 and 23.59 BST on Friday 6th March 2026 (the “Claim Period”).

2.2. Claims must be submitted by correctly completinga claim form online (which will require the provision of a valid Participating Product serial number), either at canon.co.uk/sale or www.canon.ie/sale. Participants are required  to scan, upload and attach to the online claim form a copy of their receipt, or internet  order confirmation as may be applicable, as proof of purchase. Following which, Participants will  receive an email confirming that their claim has been received.  If a Participant does not receive a confirmation email within 24 hours of processing a claim, or do not have access to the internet, please contact our Claim Hotline on 0800 044 3251.

2.3. Promotional Products are subject to availability while stocks last. Canon will not be liable for the failure of Participating Retailers to fulfill orders of Promotional Products during the Promotional Period.

2.4. Canon will not process any claims received after the Claim Period and will not process claims which are in its sole opinion incomplete.

2.5. If Canon raises a query in respect of a Claim and the Participant does not respond before 20.03.2025, then the Claim will be deemed withdrawn.

2.6. Claims by (i) businesses; or (ii) individual consumers who buy more than five (5)

2.7. Where two Promotional Products are purchased as part of a camera and lens kit, cashback will only be available on the camera. No cashback will be provided for the lens or any other bundled items. This promotion cannot be redeemed in conjunction with any other promotion EXCEPT where another Canon promotion during the Promotion Period expressly states in its terms and conditions that it may be redeemed in conjunction with this cashback promotion.

3. CASHBACK

3.1. Upon receipt and verification of a claim, Canon will arrange for a direct bank transfer to the Participant’s bank account provided in the claim, of the cashback amount set out in Schedule 1.

3.2. No alternative arrangement will be entered into, and no cash or cheque will be provided.

3.3. Canon will endeavor to make the bank transfer within four (4) to six (6) weeks from validation of a claim.

3.4. Only one (1) bank transfer payment will be issued per valid claim.

3.5. If a Participant is VAT registered in the UK, or Ireland and receives a cashback, this may reduce the taxable value of the purchase, and as a result, the Participant may be required to adjust their input VAT accordingly.

3.6. If a Promotional Product has been purchased and a cashback has been claimed, the Participant forfeits their entitlement to the cashback should they choose to return the Promotional Product.

3.7. If the Participant returns a Promotional Product after a valid claim has been submitted and a bank transfer made by Canon:

3.7.1. Where the Promotional Product was purchased from the Canon Official Store then Canon will deduct the cashback amount paid from any refund due back to the Participant; or

3.7.2. Where the Promotional Product was purchased from any other Participating Retailer (not Canon Official Store) the Participant agrees that they shall repay the cashback it received from Canon within fourteen (14) days of return of the Promotional Product The Participant agrees that Canon (through its third party supplier Benamic Ltd (with an address at IDA Business and Technology Park, Ring Road, Kilkenny, Ireland) shall contact the Participant by email to arrange for such repayment and to confirm the payment methods available to the Participant.

3.8. Promotional Products returned (free of default) for refund are not valid for this Cashback Promotion and Participants found claiming for these Promotional Products shall not be eligible.

3.9. Canon reserves the right to pursue legal action against any Participants involved in fraudulent claims.

4. THE PROMOTER

4.1. The promoter is Canon (UK) Limited, a company registered in England and Wales with number 01264300, and with its registered office address at 4 Roundwood Avenue, Stockley Park, Uxbridge UB11 1AF, England.

5. DISCLAIMERS

5.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Canon shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury of any nature howsoever caused, sustained by any Participant under this promotion. However, nothing in these rules shall have the effect of excluding or restricting Canon’s liability for personal injury or death caused by the proven negligence of Canon’s employees or agents.

5.2. In exceptional circumstances, Canon may void, amend, and/or change this promotion at any time without incurring any liability whatsoever provided that such changes are necessary and can be justified by objective reasons.

5.3. Canon reserves the right to audit any claims to ensure compliance with these terms and conditions and to request additional information and supporting documents. Canon reserves the right to exclude claims and/or Participants if it suspects that the promotion is being abused in any way. Canon’s decisions in relation to the promotion are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

5.4. If any part of these conditions is found by a court of competent jurisdiction or other competent authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, then such part shall be severed from the remainder of these conditions, which shall continue to be valid to the fullest extent permitted by law.

6. DATA

6.1. Canon (UK) Limited is the Data Controller in respect of any personal data supplied by Participants. Any personal data submitted to Canon (UK) Limited will be processed by (i) Canon (UK) Limited and its third party supplier Benamic Ltd, IDA Business and Technology Park, Ring Road, Kilkenny, Ireland, for the purpose of administering this Promotion, and, (ii) if applicable by Canon (UK) Limited and its affiliated companies for marketing purposes - in cases where Participants have opted-in to receive marketing communication from Canon. 6.2. If Participants do not wish for their contact information to be used for marketing purposes or to enable Canon to contact them in future regarding similar promotions, they should NOT check the relevant “opt-in” box when completing the claim form.

7. LAW AND JURISDICTION

As You are a participating consumer, laws of your country of residence will apply to this Promotion, and You may be entitled to bring court proceedings in your own language and in your local courts. A local consumer advice organization will be able to advise you on your rights. These Terms do not restrict any statutory rights that may be applicable.
